Latest Version of Tab Mix Plus for Firefox 3 Beta 3

I am having trouble finding the latest download for Tab Mix Plus. Can somebody please tell me what the latest version is?

Can somebody please provide a URL to download the latest version?

I tried installing FF3B3 but all the tabs were locked and could not be closed. Is there a version of Tab mix Plus that works with FF3B3?

It might be a good idea to have a "Latest Version" sticky topic in this Forum for all those people who are looking for the download links.

Thanks for a great Extension. I wouldn't use FF without it!

I'm now running/testing ff3b3 and was wondering the same thing. I could see no answers on this thread, but I figured google would know, so I googled:
"tab mix plus" latest beta "firefox 3"

There's the answer - "onemen" (assumedly the programmer) has posted (on Feb 5):
"i hope to deliver new dev-build this week," Hopefully then it'll be any day now...

fwiw I have found TabMixPlus under ff2 to be the most useful software add-on , to what was already an excellent product. I tend to keep a lot of tabs open, sometimes over 100, so the multi-line display feature is indispensable, but so is DuplicateTab, UndoClosedTab, and all the rest.

One notes that although TMP remains free software, programmers still have to eat, and put a roof over their head, in between having a life, so donations may be made via that big yellow button on the top right... One would suspect that the more donations Gary (?) receives the more priority TMP is likely to get. Just a thought.

tab_mix_plus-0.3.6.0.071228 doesn't work for FF3b3. Sad

All tabs get stuck and you cannot close them.
Also using the mouse middle-button to open new tab from a link ends up in empty tab.

At least it doesn't work for anyone as claimed above.

I really hope having soon a working version. TMP is my best and most useful plugin.

the version from this site has a fix that makes it work with firefox beta 3, i'm using it right now

This is to confirm that the following version of Tab Mix Plus DOES work with Firefox 3 Beta 3:

I just tested it and all is good. This is a modified version of Tab Mix Plus 0.3.6.0.071228 and is NOT the same as the version noted above which has problems with FF3B3.

If you want to use Tab Mix Plus with FF3B3 then use THIS version and you will have no worries.

I think that link redirects cos the file you download has "nightly build" at the end of the filename.

All our probelms are over (again). This DOES work with firefox 3b3.

The version number should really be changed, it's confusing. I would have posted that the version doesn't work (because the old one did not).

Tab scrolling is an option in the TMP options. You can choose either that or multiple tab rows. If tab scrolling is indeed enabled in TMP options, then you have a problem.

It is good to read that some people are having success with that 'unofficial' version of TMP. Unfortunately the success rate is not 100%. I run the link:

The ff3b3 add-on installer downloads & runs the file, so far so good, BUT then errors out with:

Review the Error Console log for more details.

OK, I click Tools/Errorlog... I can't see the '203' number anywhere but this must be it:

I'm running this particular ff3 on Linux (suse 10.3). Other addons such as Fullerscreen have installed & worked fine, so why won't TMP? Can this be fixed?

Posting in ALL CAPS, Mc, is generally CONSIDERED TO BE SHOUTING, which is hardly very polite now is it, out of the blue, on a public forum - women, kiddies, that sort of thing? We accept that its working on your machine(s), & others. That's GOOD! But it certainly ain't working on mine, which is BAD! Possibly there are other folk for who it hasn't worked either. And I'm not saying that to confuse anyone, Mc. I'm saying it because the software actually isn't working.

If you say, it doesn't work for you, it may be correct.
But if people say, it doesn't work and something like it can't because that version is out since the end of december, it's not at all correct.
And it was said not only here but in other TMP forums too. So let me do a shout of pain once Wink

It works for me and many other people and it's recommended in firefox forum too.
BTW, you could try to download the file and drag it to the firefox window.

I tried your suggestion Mc of downloading & drag/dropping the tmp addon onto firefox window, which did start the add-on installer, but it still threw me an error, albeit a different one:

Error: [Exception... "'Container view not found' when calling method: [nsINavHistoryResultViewer::itemChanged]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]

Hi i'm having the same problem as some have reported... the tabs just refuse to close.
i'm using the download as linked by hanzen (http://tmp.garyr.net/tab_mix_plus-dev-build.xpi)... i'm running FF on a mac (leopard) if that is of any importance...
help would be really appreciated, i'm really dependent on tmp!
