I find the way to incorporate more tabs with main FF window, but I can't find how to do the inverse operation, i.e. how to move (copy) selected tabs to another window.
Is there a way to do it, or it's a missing feature?

Other related things i was not able to do:
- select more tabs simultaneously (for example clicking on the first tab and then use shift+click to select all tabs between the firt clicked and this last one, using than ctrl+click to select/unselect single tabs)
- move tabs to an already existing window
- incorporate tabs in a window different from the main window

those features are already there except the multiple tab select

to move tab to a new window:
1. menu->tab context menu->Move to New Window
2. menu->main context menu->Move to New Window

Moving several tabs to an already opened window (tab merging):
First go under events-> tab merging to choose your options

second to actually merge
1. ctrl+click on tabs u want to move (default behavior)
2. press ctrl+shift+m

there also a menu item to have tabs merge instead of doing the keyboard shortcuts:

menu->tab context menu->merge windows
menu->main context menu->merge windows

Thanks!
I think I've learned how to do!

The merging operation is between the focused window and the previously selected window.
After merging, I have to select "No" in the dialog that appears, or the "source" window will be closed.

It's a little bit intricate and not much intuitive , but useful, however.

So the only thing missing is the use of shift+click to quickly select many tabs.
I hope this feature could be implemented soon! :)

PS: in order to emphasize a selected tab, color the tab could be more useful than adding an (*) before the tab name. Infact I often start to move tabs to other windows when tabs are too many, and then often too small to see the (*).

just curious, what would be the use of selecting multiple tabs?

the reason im asking is because if you spend the time to shift+click a tab, that time can be spent assigning a default action that will be applied as you are doing that

ehm... my english fails again! :p
I'm not sure about what you want to say (apply a default action??), but I'll try to answer to your question, however:

During navigation I use to open many tabs (for various reasons, for example I visit forums that clear the memory of unvisited topics after few time from your last visit, so I try to open all pages I want to read all together in order to don't loose this reference), but sometimes this tab are too much and I need to move them in another window.
So it will be very useful if I could select the first tab and, with shift+click, click on the last tab and select all them with only two clicks (instead of, for example, 15 clicks!), and then with contaxtual menu, move the tabs on another window.

Besides, I think that "Move to another window" would be more confortable to use than "merge": i select a tab or more tabs, then right click and "Move to another window -> New Window" or for example "Move to anothe window -> Window N° 3", without need of previously open a new window, without need of placing the destination window under the souce window and without dialogs to avoid closing the main window.
And, last but not least, I think this way is much more intuitive. :)
