I have a problem with this new beta version...
I have checked "Show new tab button" option and then choose "after last tab" place option for new tab location in tabbar but new tab button was still show on left side of tabbar.
I think this is ok when i open fx at start but after a while, that button goes at left!
please check and fix this problem if possible.

(sorry for my weakness English)

what is your firefox version platform and theme ?

Sorry about that. I forgot some details in my post:

I would see the following problem with the old dev version of TMP:

Set the New Tab Button to After Last Tab.
Open enough tabs to get the scroll arrows on the tab bar.
After closing enough tabs to eliminate the need for the scroll arrows, the New Tab Button would appear to the left of the first tab on the far left of the tab.
Restarting the browser would "correct" this.

So far, I have tried this once on Minefield--I saw this on Fx 3.5/Shiretoko--and the New Tab Button remained in position after the last tab or right, I believe, of the right side scroll arrow when enough tabs were open.

I will let you know if see this still in Fx 3.5.

Thanks you for this very useful extention.

The Romanian localization has been finished since Dec 2008.
Please include it in next (pre)release of TMP.

The files are available on BabelZilla too.

First i tried a new Profil. After i created it somthing strange happend FF loaded all Extension wich i use but at the state of Pre 3.5 is this normal ? I Unistalled all but TMP and it worked. The next thing i did was to disabeld all extensions but TMP and then enabled them one by one. I found out that the Tor Button Extenssion is causing the conflict. It is still disabled so now everything works fine

The number of closed tabs to remember, I think, defaults to 10.

As to your extensions showing up in a new profile, it seems like you might have, perhaps at one time, installed them in the extensions folder of browser's Program Installation folder. This is also known as installing the extensions globally. If this is so and you then let extensions update from within the browser, the extension updates will be installed in the profile extension folder, but not delete the old extension version installed in the Program Installation folder. Creating a new profile would result in the browser seeing the old extensions in the Program Installation folder and think they were the ones you want to use.

For Windows OS, the %ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\extensions folder is where you need to look to see if there are more than two folders present. The installation of Firefox installs one folder. The installation of Java Runtime installs another.

I would recommend that you uninstall any extension listed in the Add-on Mgr. except Java Quick Starter. After the restart to complete the uninstallations, recheck your Add-on Mgr. If there are any uninstalled extensions other than Java Quick Starter still there, these are likely old ones still installed in the above referenced folder. Uninstall these and restart. Hopefully, this will uninstall all of your "old" extensions.

If all but Java Quick Starter have been uninstalled, you should be good to go with reinstalling your extensions from within the browser. This will install them in the extensions folder within your profile.

Have you contacted the Tor Button author to report the conflict with TMP?

I have one little question,
why doesnt you (I guess I have to ask onemen) update the version on the normal Firefox Addon site (https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/1122)?
It's so much easier to get normal updates instead of allways manually looking for updates in this forum.
Just a question Smile

Once again, THX so much for the update Smile

The checkbox to have a new search open in a new tab keeps coming unchecked by itself. Under Tab Mix Plus Options/Events/Tab Opening/Open Tabs From: Search Bar. I'm using the newest Firefox with the newest Tab Mix Plus dev build. Is this a bug or something I'm doing wrong?

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with new ff 3.5.1 and newest build of TMP, with switching tabs with mouse side buttons.
When I start the FF , after few tab switches , tab selector disappears and I'm unable to switch tabs with mouse side buttons any more. Scroll wheel works.
I have tried def setting and it didn't helped .

Thanks!

The new update seems to have caused a small problem with the tree-style tabs extension.

An extra 'shadow' gradient is placed below the last tab.

I've attached a screenshot of the issue.

Hi,

First of all, thank you for your great software and hard work!

I was updated new Dev-Build 0.3.7.4pre.090726, I got something strange experience.
When I was logged in Gmail page then click Google links showed on upper left "Documents" or "Reader"etc., FF opens sign in page on new tab without my sign in information. Prior Dev-Build opens "Reader" with signing on. When I was logged in Gmail page then open "Reader" via bookmark, FF opens new tab with signing on state.

Is this cookie related or something? I prefer open with signing on. Any suggestion?, please.

Thanks in advance.

This is self-reply.
My post above was wrong. It's not by TMP. It's only cookie related problem and it was solved.

Sorry for my wrong post. Embarassed

I'm using FF 3.5.1, TST 0.7.2009072401, TMP 0.3.7.4pre.090726
- TST has a "Bookmark this Tree..." option in the tab context menu.
- When TMP is disabled, the dialog looks like attachment bookmark-tree-bug-3.png. That dialog works normally, creating a folder in the appropriate location containing bookmarks for every page in the selected tree.
- When TMP is enabled, the dialog shown in attachment bookmark-tree-bug-1.png appears. It can be resized by right click->Size or by dragging the bottom edge. Doing so reveals the rest of the dialog as shown in attachment bookmark-tree-bug-2.png. The folder controls are non-functional, and even if data is entered in the textboxes, no folders or bookmarks are created.

For some reason, I find that I am unable to turn session manager and crash recovery off. Even with all boxes unchecked (except 'Don't Restore' and 'Don't Save' which are both checked), if I restart FF with multiple tabs open; all of the same tabs automatically open upon restart. Anybody have any ideas on how to deactivate this feature?

Try checking "use firefox built-in ..." and then choose "show homepage" or "blank page" under browser start, and uncheck crash recovery.

If you "restart" the browser using any of the built-in or extension-added restart buttons or menu items, Firefox's own session restore will restore the browser to whatever state it was in at closing.

Also, if you have Tools > Options > Main > Startup set to "Show windows and tabs from last time", the browser will restore windows and tabs the way they were at close.
